Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League top-of-the-table clash with Arsenal.

Manchester City will be looking to go top of the Premier League table on Wednesday when they lock horns with Arsenal in a mouth-watering clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's side returned to winning ways on Sunday as they edged out Aston Villa 3-1 on home turf, with Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez scoring first-half goals before Ollie Watkins pulled one back in the 61st minute.

The Citizens have now won four of their last five matches across all competitions, including a 1-0 home victory over Mikel Arteta's men when the sides met in round four of the FA Cup on January 27.

Manchester City and Arsenal now renew acquaintances for the second time in three weeks, with just three points separating the sides at the top of the Premier League standings.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Arsenal, who are without a win in three consecutive outings across all competitions.

Erling Braut Haaland

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Arsenal)

Erling Braut Haaland was hooked off at half time against Aston Villa through a slight injury, although the Norwegian international has been spotted in the Citizen's most recent team training pictures and could be back in contention for Wednesday.

John Stones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: March 4 (vs. Newcastle United)

John Stones has been sidelined since sustaining a thigh problem in January's FA Cup victory over Arsenal and the English defender is not expected back in action until the first week of March.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester City have no suspended players for this match.
