Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Olivier Giroud is available for this weekend's Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The 28-year-old has been on the sidelines for the past three months after breaking his leg in the Gunners' 2-2 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
It was initially feared that Giroud would miss the remainder of the year, although he has returned well ahead of schedule in time for the visit of United.
"He is three or four weeks ahead of schedule," Wenger told reporters. "Originally we planned to have him back for competition at the beginning of next year. So he's one month ahead."
Arsenal, who are currently sixth in the Premier League table, have not lost any of the four games that the France international has featured in this season.
