Arsenal forward Lucas Perez has returned to former club Deportivo La Coruna as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
The 28-year-old has been sidelined since limping out of his side's EFL Cup win over Reading last month, with manager Arsene Wenger confirming after the game that he would miss up to eight weeks.
The Spaniard has now returned to A Coruna in order to aid his recovery having received permission from Arsenal to spend a couple of weeks back in his hometown.
Perez is expected to spend at least another month on the sidelines, which will see him miss matches against Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Bournemouth, Southampton, West Ham United, Basel and Stoke City.
The striker has been limited to just six appearances in all competitions since his summer move, scoring two goals.
