Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Hakim Ziyech and N'Golo Kante are both in contention to face Arsenal in Sunday's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Ziyech missed out against Crystal Palace last weekend due to a shoulder problem that he picked up in the UEFA Super Cup, while a muscular issue ruled Kante out of the clash with the Eagles.
However, Tuchel has revealed that both players trained with the club on Thursday, and the pair are winning their battles to be fit for the London derby with the Gunners.
"Hakim and N'Golo both trained yesterday so we need to have more physical intense session tomorrow and decide tomorrow. Right now, it seems very positive that both can be in the squad for Sunday," Tuchel told reporters.
The Chelsea manager has also revealed that Romelu Lukaku is in line to make his second debut for the Blues in this weekend's contest.
However, Christian Pulisic has tested positive for coronavirus and will therefore not be available to take on Mikel Arteta's side in North London.
