A Mathieu Flamini goal has given Arsenal a 1-0 half-time lead over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane this evening.
The game's first chance fell to Arsenal winger Joel Campbell, who headed over the bar from a Kieran Gibbs cross that had missed intended target Olivier Giroud.
The visitors took the lead on 26 minutes after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain tested Michel Vorm, before Mathieu Flamini pounced on the rebound to score the game's opener.
Tottenham's first chance fell to Danny Rose, who was played in by Harry Kane before dragging a right-footed shot narrowly wide.
Chamberlain missed a great opportunity to double Arsenal's lead before half time, but his curled effort from inside the penalty area went high and wide.
Kane had a chance to equalise just before the break as the England international led a counter-attack, but his left-footed effort flashed wide of the Arsenal goal.
