Thomas Vermaelen is thought to be in contention for Arsenal's Carling Cup clash with Bolton Wanderers this evening.
The Belgian international, who signed a new contract with the club earlier this month, returned to full training last week after a two-month period with an Achilles injury.
Arsenal go into the match as favourites after beating Bolton 3-0 in the Premier League last month.
The teams will battle for a place in the quarter-finals at 7.45pm at the Emirates.
