Arsenal confirm squad numbers for the new season with a number of notable changes.

Arsenal have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2012-13 season, with a few notable changes.

Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been handed the number one shirt following the departure of Manuel Almunia in the close season.

New arrival Olivier Giroud will wear number 12, a shirt last worn by Gunners legend Thierry Henry during his loan spell last season.

Arsenal have yet to confirm the squad number of Lukas Poloski, with the German likely to take number 10 from Robin van Persie if the Dutchman does leave North London.

A number of players who spent the majority of last season out on loan have also been handed numbers for the new campaign, including Andrei Arshavin and Nicklas Bendtner.
