Arsene Wenger has praised his Arsenal players for seeing off Chelsea this afternoon, but criticised the below-par playing surface at Wembley.
The Gunners claimed their first piece of silverware of the season, as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's rocket strike proved enough to win the 2015 Community Shield.
Despite being unhappy with the pitch, Wenger was quick to pick out the positives after seeing the Gunners round off their pre-season programme with another victory.
"We have suffered physically today and the pitch was not great," he told BT Sport. "But overall it's good because in pre-season we have been solid defensively.
"Pre-season has gone quite well. We have no big injuries at the moment apart from Jack Wilshere who we lost yesterday."
Arsenal get their Premier League campaign underway next Sunday when they play host to West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium.
