Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has declared that the support he has received since moving to North London has helped him settle quickly.
Giroud has struck seven times in all competitions for the Gunners after completing a summer switch from Montpellier.
The French international has insisted that he feeds off the support of the crowd and implored Arsenal fans to stick with him and the team during a difficult spell.
He told the club's official website: "I'm a striker and a striker needs to have a good atmosphere.
"You have to keep confident. The atmosphere around you and the support of fans, it makes me feel better and better. I feel very emotive and proud to play for Arsenal.
"I heard the fans' song for me when I came here for the first time, I heard this song and it made me want to die on the pitch for the fans."
Arsene Wenger's side are currently on a run of four games without a win which includes back-to-back defeats to Swansea City and Olympiacos.
