Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has insisted that the club should follow Manchester United's transfer policy in the future.
The Gunners have sold many of their star performers in recent years, but Giroud believes that it is imperative that the club concentrate on adding to their squad, rather than losing key players.
The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's important to keep your best players.
"Every year, Manchester United buy one, maybe two players, and it doesn't cost too much money, and they succeed to keep their best players.
"I think in the future, this is the main thing that we have to do."
The French international has endured a mixed first season at the Emirates Stadium, scoring nine goals in 28 Premier League matches.
