Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has said that the Gunners showed their team spirit in edging out Tottenham Hotspur in today's North London derby.
The Frenchman scored the only goal of the game after three minutes at the Emirates Stadium, which lifts Arsene Wenger's men to fourth after three matches of the season.
"Everybody knows it's a big game for us and the fans are really excited about this time of the year as well," he told Sky Sports News.
"We want to keep it up after our three wins and we did well this afternoon. We never gave up and we showed a real togetherness."
Speaking of his match-winning goal, the 26-year-old said: "Theo [Walcott] knows me very well. I feel I know my teammates and they know me much better, so we find each other without opening our eyes."
Arsenal have responded to their opening day defeat to Aston Villa with two wins over Fenerbahce and a 3-1 victory at Fulham.
