Former Arsenal manager George Graham is not convinced that the Gunners have a good enough squad to challenge for the Premier League title.
Arsenal managed to secure a club-record £42.5m swoop for Real Madrid's Mesut Ozil, but they failed to lure a new striker to North London following reports of interest in Gonzalo Higuain and Luis Suarez.
"I'm surprised Arsenal didn't get a couple more players in, especially a top-class striker with the money they supposedly had to spend in the summer," Graham told talkSPORT.
"They needed a centre-forward. If you are going to win it [the title] you need a centre-forward that is going to get you 20 league goals, not 20 cup goals."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is likely to hand Ozil his debut against Sunderland this weekend.
