Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has reportedly decided to wait until the summer to consider a permanent contract for on-loan striker Nicklas Bendtner.
The 24-year-old has impressed at the Stadium of Light since his loan move from Arsenal last summer, but questions have been raised over the long-term future of the Denmark international.
It is believed that O'Neill has refrained from trying to hatch out a contract for the striker but instead will opt for discussions at the end of the season, according to the Express.
Bendtner recently claimed that he has yet to consider a permanent switch to Sunderland.
