Petr Cech's prospective move to Arsenal has edged nearer to completion, according to reports.
The Chelsea goalkeeper, 33, is heavily expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after 11 years of service, with the Gunners said to be in pole position to sign him.
Speculation is rife that the deal is as good as complete after ex-Arsenal defender Lauren wished the Czech good luck on Twitter recently.
Nevertheless, although Cech has agreed personal terms with the North Londoners, both clubs have yet to thrash out a transfer fee and negotiations will continue next week, according to Sky Sports News.
Cech, who slipped behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order last season, has one year to run on his existing contract.
