Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that Emmanuel Frimpong has the quality to become a regular Premier League player.
Wenger said that he allowed Frimpong to go on loan to Fulham in order to give him experience in the top flight.
"At the moment he has many players in front of him and he is at an age where he needs to play," Wenger told Arsenal's website.
"I am 100% convinced he has the quality to play in the Premier League. He comes back from injury, the players in front of him are fit and he's a bit stuck there. I want to give him an opportunity to play."
Frimpong spent the end of last year on loan at Championship side Charlton Athletic.
