England midfielder Jack Wilshere has returned to Arsenal training following his year-long injury nightmare.
The 20-year-old missed the entirety of last season after suffering a foot problem and his return has since been delayed by persistent knee and ankle issues.
However, he and midfield teammate Emmanuel Frimpong, who has been recovering from cruciate ligament damage, have both taken a full part in Gunners training this week.
Wilshere's agent tweeted: "Delighted to say that Jack Wilshere was back in full 1st team training today. Understandably he is a very excited young man today."
Wilshere has been capped five times by England since debuting in 2010.
