Carlo Ancelotti will reportedly face the sack at Napoli if his side fail to beat Udinese in Serie A on Saturday.
Napoli currently sit seventh in Serie A, 18 points behind top side Inter Milan having played just 14 games so far this season.
According the Daily Mail, Ancelotti will lose his job if Napoli don't win, with the players said to be divided in their opinion of the coach.
The report adds that if the 60-year-old is removed then he could be replaced by former AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso, who played under Ancelotti at Milan.
Ancelotti joined Napoli in May 2018 and guided the club to second in Serie A last season, as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
The Italian coach has also been linked with the vacant Arsenal and Everton jobs, after both Unai Emery and Marco Silva were sacked in the last two weeks.
