Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton.
Sports Mole

With a top-four finish now out of their hands, Arsenal's final game of the 2021-22 Premier League season sees them welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's side slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Monday evening - four days after also being torn apart by Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.

Nothing less than a win will do for Arsenal if they are to have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League, but they are also praying for Norwich City to pull off a shock win over Tottenham.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the final-day clash with the Toffees.

Thomas Partey

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

There was slight optimism that Thomas Partey may have recovered from his thigh injury before the end of the season, but Arsenal will definitely be without the Ghanaian this weekend.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Kieran Tierney remains on the long road to recovery following knee surgery and is still facing some weeks on the sidelines - putting his summer Scotland participation in doubt.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Everton)

Takehiro Tomiyasu's injury woes continued to bedevil him as he was taken off in the first half against Newcastle with a muscular problem, and Arteta is unsure if the right-back will make the final day of the season.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match, with Rob Holding back from a ban served in the Newcastle defeat.
