Arsenal are reportedly keen to conclude an £11m move for Chelsea keeper Petr Cech by the end of next week.
The Czech Republic shot-stopper has been linked with several Premier League clubs as well as big-spending Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the Daily Mail claims that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is increasingly confident that a deal for Cech can be completed soon.
While PSG are thought to have made a formal enquiry regarding the 33-year-old's availability, Cech is said to favour a switch to Arsenal to avoid moving his family away from London.
Cech joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004.
