Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger.
The Gunners have been linked with signing a new defender for much of the season and those suggestions gathered pace following Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Vitoria de Guimaraes, the fourth consecutive game in which they let a lead slip.
According to The Sun, Unai Emery's side have identified the big 27-year-old as a potential solution to their problems.
Hinteregger, who joined Adi Hutter's Frankfurt from Augsburg in the summer, has scored three goals in nine games for the German side this season as they sit seventh in the Bundesliga.
The report also claims that West Ham United, who are without a win in six, are also targeting the Austrian international.
