Arsenal and Liverpool have entered the race to sign Real Madrid's Asier Illarramendi, according to reports.
The 24-year-old has struggled to secure a first-team place under Carlo Ancelotti, despite costing £25m when he joined from Real Sociedad in 2013.
AC Milan are said to be interested in the midfielder, but Arsenal and Liverpool have also thrown their name into the hat, according to the Express.
Illarramendi has played for Spain's Under-21s and Under-23s, but has yet to earn a cap for the senior side.
