Arsenal have announced the loan departure of striker Chuba Akpom to Belgian club Sint-Truiden until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been used for a combined 23 minutes at senior level by Arsene Wenger this term, featuring once in the EFL Cup and once in the FA Cup.
Akpom has seen his passage to the first team blocked and will now embark on his sixth spell away from the Emirates Stadium, with Belgian Pro League side Sint-Truiden having a loan bid accepted.
Alexandre Lacazette, youngster Eddie Nketiah and new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all ahead of the Englishman in the pecking order.
Sint-Truiden find themselves sixth in the league, 24 points adrift of leaders Club Brugge.
