Arsenal have reportedly made a last-ditch call to Juventus in an attempt to bring striker Alvaro Morata to the Emirates on deadline day.
The Gunners have been searching for a new striker during this whole month, but were left disappointed when their target Dusan Vlahovic moved to Juventus in favour of a move to North London.
Mikel Arteta's side have also been linked with a transfer for Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak, who has reportedly been spotted in the English capital but is likely to cost Arsenal a fee in the region of £75m.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners will now look to bring in former Chelsea man Morata, who is on loan at Juve from Atletico Madrid, which may complicate any deal which would need to be completed under heavy time pressures.
Arsenal's attacking options have been depleted in recent weeks as Folarin Balogun was allowed to join Middlesbrough on loan, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks set for an exit from the club, with Barcelona interested in a loan move.
Morata has scored 28 goals in 73 appearances for Juve, during his second spell at the club after arriving on loan from Atletico Madrid in 2020. body check tags ::
