Arsenal are reportedly preparing a £15m swoop for Brentford defender Ezri Konsa.
The 21-year-old joined the Bees from Charlton Athletic during the recent summer transfer window and has played in all but one of his team's Championship matches this season.
The England Under-21 international has also worn the armband for Brentford this term.
According to The Sun, Arsenal have sent scouts to watch Konsa in action during the 2018-19 campaign, and the Gunners are considering launching a £15m offer when the January transfer window opens for business.
Konsa has played in central defence for Brentford since his summer arrival, but he is also capable of operating at either right-back or in defensive midfield.
