Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico has hinted that he could move to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Tagliafico, 26, has been strongly linked with a move away from Ajax, having impressed for the Dutch outfit during the 2018-19 campaign.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are both believed to be monitoring the left-back, but it is thought that the strongest interest has arrived from the Premier League in the shape of Arsenal.
Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars recently insisted that his club will fight to keep Tagliafico in Amsterdam beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.
However, the Argentine has said that it might be "a natural time to take the step".
"I think in the summer it could be a natural time to take the step. But I try not to think about taking that step just yet because we have many important games to focus on," Tagliafico told reporters.
"Yes, it's flattering (interest from the Premier League) because I think it's the most competitive league. When you are a child, the target is to come to Europe and play in a top league like the Premier League. I came to Ajax because of the philosophy, the style of football and the club."
Tagliafico, who joined Ajax from Independiente in January 2018, has contributed five goals and six assists in 37 appearances for his Dutch club this season.
