Barcelona attacker Arda Turan has reportedly decided to shun interest from Arsenal and is instead nearing a move to Besiktas.
The 30-year-old has outlined plans to leave Camp Nou next month after failing to get a single minute of competitive action under Ernesto Valverde following the manager's arrival over the summer.
A number of clubs have subsequently been linked with his signature, most notably the Gunners, with whom he is rumoured to have held talks several weeks ago.
According to media reports in Turkey, however, Turan has decided to return to his homeland and "could put pen to paper on a contract" with Besiktas in the coming days.
Senol Gunes's side are currently fourth in the Turkish Super Lig and are also into the last 16 of the Champions League, where they will face off against Bayern Munich.
Turan has been with Barca for two and a half years, during which time he has won one La Liga title and two Copas del Rey.
