Arda Turan's agent has revealed that talks are underway with "several clubs" over a mid-season move, as the attacking midfielder closes in on a Barcelona exit.
The 30-year-old has made clear that he intends to quit Camp Nou this winter after failing to make a single appearance in any competition since Ernesto Valverde took charge.
A week after being spotted in London, Turan's representative Ahmet Bulut has reiterated that a January transfer would be the best solution, though the Turkey international will stay and fight for his place at Barca if needs be.
"We're troubled with Arda's situation. He didn't even get to play 10 minutes," he told TRT Spor. "We respect Ernesto Valverde but I can't understand how can he assess a player whom he doesn't put on the field.
"I'm having talks with several clubs regarding Arda but I can't name any of them. I'm trying to wrap this up by January but if we can't reach an agreement with any of the teams, he'll stay at Barca. Arda scored 13 goals when Neymar was away injured. He plays hard when he gets a chance."
Premier League side Arsenal have been most heavily linked with Turan over the past 18 months, with a swap deal involving Mesut Ozil reportedly being proposed by the Catalan club.
