Arsenal have reportedly informed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that they are prepared to offer him a new lucrative contract.
With the forward having contributed 34 goals from 51 outings in the Premier League since February 2018, Arsenal are keen to extend the Gabon international's deal past 2021.
However, while Mesut Ozil is still on the payroll, the Gunners are not in a position to hand the 30-year-old a set wage packet anywhere close to the earnings of the German.
The Telegraph says that Arsenal's hierarchy are now working on structured terms which would see Aubameyang earn a large bonus if the North Londoners return to the Champions League.
The report adds that Aubameyang is yet to make a decision on his long-term future, aware that he will not be short of admirers the longer he waits to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang has netted decisive goals in wins over Newcastle United and Burnley in recent weeks.
