Arsenal reportedly remain keen to part ways with midfielder Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.
Despite falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, Ozil expressed a desire to stay with the Gunners during the summer.
However, Arsenal still want to get the playmaker off their wage bill as soon as possible, even if it means taking a financial hit.
According to The Mirror, the North Londoners are prepared to pay a portion of Ozil's income if he accepts an opportunity to move elsewhere, whether that be on a permanent or temporary basis.
Ozil, who has made just two starts in all competitions this season, still has just under two years left on his current contract.
