Arsenal are now able to press ahead with their summer transfer plans with the knowledge that they will be playing European football next season courtesy of Saturday's FA Cup triumph over Chelsea.
A 14th success in the competition ensured Europa League qualification in addition to earning Mikel Arteta a trophy during his first season in charge, and now the Spaniard must look to traverse his first summer window as a manager.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Sunday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Arsenal 'send officials to secure Joelson Fernandes deal'
Arsenal officials have reportedly travelled to Portugal in an attempt to tie up negotiations for highly-rated Sporting Lisbon winger Joelson Fernandes.
The 17-year-old, who has inevitably been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo since breaking into the first-team set-up in Lisbon, has been identified as one of Arsenal's top targets for the summer window.
Reports have suggested that the Gunners would be willing to pay his £41m release clause, and A Bola claims that officials have now travelled to Lisbon in order to thrash out a deal.
Barcelona and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the attacker, who became Sporting's youngest ever player on his debut earlier this season.
Arsenal 'lining up summer move for Abdoulaye Doucoure'
Watford could face a battle to keep some of their best players following their relegation from the Premier League, and Abdoulaye Doucoure is one of those being most heavily linked with a move away.
Arsenal are thought to be looking at midfield reinforcements with the futures of Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira still uncertain.
The Mirror reports that Doucoure is one of the players on their shortlist, although they could face competition from Premier League rivals Everton.
Doucoure scored four goals and created two more during Watford's doomed 2019-20 campaign and has spent four years with the Hornets in total.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang dodges question over Arsenal future
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was Arsenal's hero in Saturday's FA Cup final, scoring twice to fire the Gunners to victory over Chelsea at Wembley and securing Europa League football next season in the process.
Whether the 31-year-old is there to enjoy it remains to be seen, though, with speculation over his future continuing to rage given that he is now into the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang was asked about his future after the game, but dodged the situation in order to focus on the trophy celebrations, telling BBC Sport: "Nothing. Just today and the trophy. That's it!"
The Gabon international's brace at Wembley took him up to 29 goals for the season, 22 of which came in the Premier League.
