Arsenal are reportedly planning to confirm the signing of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal once the Copa America finishes in the summer.
The Chile international was recently linked to Liverpool, but it appears that Arsenal have a serious interest in the player.
Vidal was heavily tipped to join Manchester United last summer, but reports claimed that the Red Devils weren't willing to pay the £40m price tag due to the player's injury woes.
According to DirecTV journalist Hernan Feler, Arsenal have already won the race for Vidal's signature and will announce the midfielder's arrival later this summer.
The Daily Star translates Feler's tweet as saying: "After the Copa America in Chile, it will be made official the arrival of Arturo Vidal to Arsenal. Everything is closed. Alexis [Sanchez] will partner him."
Despite these reports, Vidal recently claimed that he would be happy to stay in Turin for the rest of his life.
