Mikel Arteta has reportedly identified exactly which positions Arsenal need to prioritise strengthening during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners face a big few months as they gear up for a first season without European football in 25 years on the back of a terrible 2020-21 campaign.
Manager Arteta has already indicated that changes are required in terms of playing personnel, with a number of first-teamers expected to be moved on to make way for fresh faces.
According to Goal, there are five positions in particular that the Spaniard is looking to improve during the close-season.
The first of those is a new goalkeeper, with Bernd Leno guilty of making a number of high-profile errors, as well as a couple of new full-backs.
Arteta is also said to be targeting another central midfielder and a striker, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah potentially heading for the Emirates Stadium exit.
Celtic's Odsonne Edouard, Sporting Lisbon youngster Tiago Tomas and Moussa Dembele of Lyon are all rumoured to be on the Gunners' transfer radar.
