Chelsea striker Demba Ba has revealed that he was ready to join Arsenal during the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old Senegal international came close to signing for the Gunners last month, but the deal fell through.
"I was ready to go and to play there, but it didn't happen," Sky Sports News quotes Ba as saying. "Now what matters is the next months, the next years with Chelsea and that's it."
Ba has made one appearance for Chelsea so far this season.
