Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Leroy Sane's situation at German giants Bayern Munich.
Sane has scored 48 goals and provided 50 assists in 175 appearances since joining Bayern from Man City in the summer of 2025.
Last term, Sane registered 10 goals and 13 assists in 42 competitive matches, proving that he remains a key player in the Bayern squad.
However, there is speculation surrounding the winger's long-term future, with his Bayern contract set to expire next summer.
Arsenal keeping tabs on Sane
According to Sky Deutschland, Arsenal are paying close attention to Sane's contract situation as they weigh up a potential move for the 28-year-old.
The report claims that the Germany international is keen to remain at Bayern and extend his contract beyond the end of the 2024-25 season.
However, the Gunners are seemingly ready to keep tabs on the contract talks with no deal currently in place between Sane and the German club.
If Bayern are unable to agree a new contract, they may view the current transfer window as one final opportunity to demand a considerable fee.
Could Arteta give Arsenal the upper hand?
The attacker would likely attract interest from several clubs if it became apparent that he could be sold this summer.
Nevertheless, Arsenal would likely have an upper hand in any pursuit due to the player's positive relationship with Mikel Arteta.
The Arsenal manager spent over a year working with Sane during his time as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City.
Speaking about his relationship with Arteta in April, Sane told reporters: "I was very happy to work with him. He helped me a lot there.
"We had a lot of face-to-face conversations about how I can improve my game. I improved a lot because of his ideas, be it positional play or how I have to act in different situations.'
The Gunners are seemingly turning their focus to potential attacking additions, having recently strengthened their defence with the signing of Riccardo Calafiori. body check tags ::
