Marouane Chamakh has said that he expects to finish the season at Arsenal before making a decision on his future.
Chamakh, who arrived at the Emirates on a free transfer from Bordeaux at the beginning of last season, has struggled to break into the first team under manager Arsene Wenger after a strong initial spell in North London.
Meanwhile, the Morocco international has refused to rule out a return to Bordeaux.
"I always said if I had to return to France, it would be with Bordeaux," Chamakh told Sud Ouest. "I will weigh up the pros and cons. If I leave here, I'll take that possibility into consideration.
"I have the idea that I will finish the season at Arsenal. But in May and June, I will see things differently. I cannot stay in this situation forever.
"I'm 27, I'm a competitor, I want to play, I accept many things here because it works. But I cannot live like this forever. I will make a decision this spring."
Chamakh has made 35 appearances for the Gunners in his time at the club.
