West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made an offer for Rennes midfielder Tongo Doumbia.
The 22-year-old Mali international has made no secret of his desire to play in England.
Aston Villa and Arsenal had also shown an interest in Doumbia, but the player has snubbed the Gunners in favour of talks with the Baggies, according to The Sun.
The newspaper quotes Doumbia as saying: "I'll have more chances to play at West Brom."
Doumbia made 25 Ligue 1 appearances last season, scoring two goals.
