CSKA Moscow winger Alan Dzagoev has been told to forget about signing for Tottenham Hotspur by the club.
The Russia midfielder was one of the emerging stars at Euro 2012, with his performances earning him interest from Spurs, Arsenal, Juventus and Inter Milan among others.
The White Hart Lane outfit looked to be in the driving seat to sign the 22-year-old and were reportedly poised to offer a £10m bid for the player.
However, Dzagoev still has two years remaining on his current deal with the Russians, and while they could sell him next year, the club are keen to keep hold of their man this summer, according to talkSPORT.
Dzagoev scored three goals in three games at the European Championships and is valued at around £15m.
