Four English clubs have made an approach for Marseille youngster Maxime Lopez, according to reports in France.
The 16-year-old has been impressing in Marseille's youth teams and his form is believed to have attracted the interest of Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Lopez will be unable to sign a professional contract until his 17th birthday later this year, and the French club are reportedly worried that they could lose the striker to a Premier League team.
A source close to the club told La Provence: "If a foreign club offers €20,000 (£16,600) per month to a 16-year-old kid, plus a stake to the parents, what can you do?
"This is the law of the football business, but we hope he'll choose with his heart."
Marseille are expected to offer Lopez a five-year contract before the end of the season.
