AS Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe has suffered a knee injury during his side's 3-2 victory over Toulouse in their Ligue 1 opener.
A number of European football's biggest clubs have shown an interest in the teenager after he contributed 26 goals from 44 appearances in all competitions last season.
Real Madrid are allegedly prepared to pay in the region of €180m (£162.43m) to sign the 18-year-old this summer, but their plans may be hit depending on the severity of Mbappe's injury on Friday night.
The French international was taken off in the 75th minutes at Stade Louis II, and it remains to be seen whether he will now spend a spell on the sidelines.
Arsenal, Manchester City, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in his signature, while Mbappe himself is said to have expressed a desire to leave last season's Champions League semi-finalists.
