Leicester City have reportedly been keeping a close eye on teenage Hibernian left-back Josh Doig.

The 18-year-old is no stranger to links with a move to the Premier League, having previously been tipped to join Manchester City, Leeds United and Arsenal.

According to The Sun, Leicester are the latest English side to show an interest in Doig, who is believed to be available for around £1.5m.

City are said to have sent scouts to watch the young defender in Scottish Cup action against Queen of the South on Monday night.

Doig has four more years to run on his contract at Easter Road, but Hibernian supposedly accept that they may have to let the player leave this summer.
