Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly joined the race to sign Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac.
Having dropped down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, Kolasinac is likely to be sold before the end of the summer transfer window.
Schalke 04, a former club of the left-footer, are interested in agreeing a loan proposal for the 27-year-old over the coming weeks.
However, despite the Bosnia-Herzegovina international being keen on a reunion, Bild suggests that Leverkusen have emerged as the favourites.
Through the sale of Kevin Volland and likely exit of Kai Havertz, Leverkusen have the funds to bid £13.5m for the player, significantly more than Schalke.
Kolasinac has two years left on his contract, something which may allow for some flexibility to ensure that a deal is completed.
