Manchester City and Arsenal have reportedly identified Javi Martinez as a possible transfer target ahead of the summer window.
The Bayern Munich midfielder is believed to be growing frustrated with life under head coach Pep Guardiola, who has elected to use the Spaniard far less than previous manager Jupp Heynckes.
According to Bild, Martinez is becoming increasingly unsettled at Bayern, which could attract interest from the clubs that lost out when he moved to Germany in 2012.
City and Arsenal are both reported to be monitoring the situation as they consider who to target this summer, having both been linked with Martinez in recent years.
The 25-year-old has three years remaining on his contract.
