Manchester City will reportedly consider a move for Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell if they decide to sell Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer.
The 22-year-old impressed as a first-team regular under Patrick Vieira in 2021-22, making 41 appearances across all competitions.
His form for the Eagles was rewarded with his first senior call-up to Gareth Southgate's England squad in March, and he played twice for the Three Lions in friendlies against Switzerland and Ivory Coast.
Palace are under no pressure to sell Mitchell this summer as he still has three years remaining on his contract, but reports in Spain claim that Man City are keeping tabs on the defender as they view him as an ideal replacement for Zinchenko.
The report adds that City are open to the prospect of losing the Ukraine international this summer, who is believed to be contemplating an exit from the Etihad Stadium in search of regular first-team football.
Zinchenko has recently been linked with La Liga giants Barcelona, while Arsenal and West Ham United have also been credited with an interest.
Mitchell is not the only Premier League left-back who has been linked with a move to Pep Guardiola's side, as Brighton & Hove Albion's Marc Cucurella and Wolverhampton Wanderers' Rayan Ait-Nouri are also believed to be on their radar. body check tags ::
