Real Madrid's Marco Asensio has been offered a new contract at the La Liga club amid reported interested in the forward, according to a report.
The 26-year-old's current deal expires in the summer of 2023, meaning Los Blancos could lose their man on a free transfer at the end of next season, or for a cut-price fee in the upcoming summer transfer window.
However, despite Calciomercato.com reporting that the likes of Arsenal and AC Milan are interested in the Spanish international, their report also suggests that Real have offered Asensio a new deal in order to fend off interest.
Although, despite the revised offer reportedly being on improved terms, Asensio has also decided to change agents ahead of potential contract talks, or a transfer move at the end of the season.
Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes has been lined up to represent the forward, with the 56-year-old also sounding out a potential move to Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur too.
After enduring numerous injury-hit campaigns at the Bernabeu, Asensio has shaken off fitness issues to make 28 La Liga appearances for Real so far this season, netting nine goals in the process. body check tags ::
