Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil has insisted that he would not sign for Tottenham Hotspur as speculation over his future gathers pace.
The 32-year-old is expected to head for the Emirates exit door in 2021 after being frozen out of the team under Mikel Arteta, and Ozil's contract is up in the summer.
Fenerbahce have been the club most strongly linked with a swoop for Ozil, who has not pulled on the red and white jersey for a competitive match since before the first coronavirus-enforced lockdown in March.
Ozil recently hosted a Twitter Q&A session, during which one fan asked if he would ever sign for Arsenal's arch-rivals Tottenham, and the playmaker simply responded with a Spider-Man GIF displaying the word "No".
During the same Q&A on Wednesday evening, Ozil admitted that he wished he could help the Gunners during their current slump, and the former Real Madrid man tipped Matteo Guendouzi - who has also endured a frosty relationship with Arteta - to enjoy a bright future.
Ozil's agent recently confirmed that the ex-Germany international has offers from all over the world, but the midfielder is still not expected to leave in January.
