Rumoured Liverpool and Arsenal target Max Meyer has reportedly agreed terms to join Hoffenheim this summer.
Meyer's contract at current club Schalke 04 will expire next month, and they confirmed in April that he will leave after talks over an extension proved fruitless.
The 22-year-old has since been banished from training, bringing a bitter end to his time at the club he has served since the age of 14.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona were all thought to be interested in signing the Germany international on a free transfer, but Leipziger Volkszeitung reports that he has instead chosen to remain in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim finished third in the German top flight this season, ensuring Champions League qualification for the second year in a row.
