Newcastle United are reportedly struggling to agree personal terms with Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock.
Magpies manager Steve Bruce has been very vocal about his desire to reunite with Willock at St James' Park, with the 21-year-old netting eight goals in 14 Premier League games during his successful loan spell.
Arsenal are reported to have accepted a £25m offer for Willock's services, with the midfielder now attempting to negotiate the personal side of a deal with Newcastle.
However, Sky Sports News claims that the two parties are "a distance apart" from agreeing personal terms, and they are pressing to get a deal over the line in time for Sunday's Premier League opener with West Ham United.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta recently affirmed that Willock is "our player" in a press conference, but he refused to guarantee that the Englishman would still be at the Emirates next month.
The Hale End academy product has less than two years left to run on his deal with Arsenal, where he has struck 11 goals and set up four more in 78 appearances. body check tags ::
