Lukas Podolski has suggested that he will look for a new club if he is handed a bit-part role at Arsenal next season.
The German World Cup winner is expected to return to the Emirates following a failed six-month loan spell at Inter Milan.
However, the forward has hinted that he may not be an Arsenal player for much longer if he is not given regular game time.
"I can't make any claims," Podolski told Kicker. "I am under contract at Arsenal. I have not talked to Arsenal yet, but if I return I want to play. I won't sit on the bench or in the stands."
The 30-year-old has one year remaining on his current contract.
