Arsenal have reportedly been knocked back by Legia Warsaw in their pursuit of 17-year-old midfielder Krystian Bielik.
The highly-rated youngster has been on the Gunners' radar for a number of months and have had a £1.6m bid rejected by the Polish giants, according to Sky Sports News.
The report goes on to state that the rejection has done little to perturb the North Londoners, who are considering returning with an improved £2.3m offer.
Bielik, whose contract expires in 2017, was snapped up from Lech Poznan for just £9,500 in July and has impressed after breaking into their senior set-up this season.
