Stoke City are reportedly eager to take Arsenal striker Joel Campbell on loan during the January transfer window.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger insisted last week that he had no plans to part with the Costa Rica international, who is believed to be frustrated at a lack of starting opportunities this term.
However, despite Wenger's insistence, Stoke boss Mark Hughes has made an initial enquiry regarding the 22-year-old's availability, according to The Mirror.
It was speculated during the summer that Hughes had made an approach to sign Campbell, but the move never materialised.
The likes of West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City, Inter Milan and Benfica have also been credited with an interest in the attacker over recent weeks.
